Concerns about the purity of drinking water have been around since humans began drinking water. Where arsenic is a natural part of the ground water, where it may have been part of mining runoff, or where air pollution may contain arsenic from factories, well water should be tested for any harmful ingredients.
The good news is that almost any harmful chemicals including arsenic can be filtered out. Just about any type of filter that can be purchased for home use is an effective arsenic water filter. If testing shows that your water contains harmful elements, you can install an arsenic water filter that will help purify water as it comes into the home.
This will help to limit the amount of arsenic, chlorine, lead and other problems in all of the water used for bathing, dish washing, clothes washing and cooking.
