Summer comes once each year bringing with it intense sunrays and high temperatures. You can cope with high temperatures with a fan, or better yet, you can use your air conditioning unit. In today's society people are using additional air conditioning systems in their homes and their offices to make the environment comfortable. With temperatures in some areas spiking over 100 degrees it is inevitable. We have to stay cool somehow. Especially, young children and the elderly. Unfortunately, people aren't observing the importance of setting the air conditioner at a proper temperature. If the setting is too low, it can cause problems to you health wise. Causing you to be too cold and extremely hot in too short of a time period.

On an average summer day, outdoor temperatures can reach over 30oC Individuals are making the error of setting their air at 20oC or lower. If you plan to stay indoors all of the time, then it will not be much of a problem. However, once you do plan to go out, your body can feel an intense temperature change because of the differences in the indoor and outdoor temperatures. Doing so can cause you to catch a cold. The quick change in body temperature can cause a chill.

Normally, the change between indoor and outdoor temperatures should be kept at a minimal to insure that your body stays at a set temperature range. Keeping the temperature in the rooms at a consistent level is also advisable. It not only helps maintain your body in a healthy state, it will also helps save on electricity.

Although, it is pleasing to be in an air conditioning your room during hot summer days, be advised that your body can become dehydrated from the effects of your air-conditioner. Good advice is to drink a lot of h2o. Placing a bucket of in your room helps as well. Doing so will help minimize what feels like dryness in the air and make the room feel more pleasurable to be in. You can also accomplish this by placing a humidifier that blows cool air in the room to keep moisture in the air.
